Plain terms for working together, and one section that matters more than the rest.
Sessions are psychological consulting. They are not medical treatment, not psychiatric care, not a diagnosis, and not a prescription for anything. I do not diagnose conditions and I do not treat illness.
Nothing here replaces care from a doctor, psychiatrist, or licensed clinician in your own country. If you are already under someone's care, this work sits alongside it — it does not replace it, and it is worth telling them you are doing it.
This is not an emergency service. Email and the booking calendar are not monitored around the clock, and a message may go unread for a day or more. If you are in crisis, or thinking about harming yourself or anyone else, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line in your country now.
Ivan (NISUDA), an independent practitioner in Saitama, Japan, working online in English, Russian and Japanese. Sessions are one-to-one and delivered by me personally — never by an assistant, a stand-in, or an automated system.
I am a psychologist-practitioner. I am not a physician, a psychiatrist, or a clinical psychologist, and I hold no medical licence. Services are provided from Japan under Japanese law. I am not registered or regulated as a healthcare provider in your country, and nothing I do should be taken as regulated healthcare there. If your country restricts who may offer work of this kind, deciding whether to engage me on that basis is yours to make.
Adults, 18 and over, able to enter into a contract on their own behalf. I do not work with minors, and I do not accept a booking made on someone else's behalf without that person's own agreement.
This work is not suitable if you are in acute crisis, actively suicidal, experiencing psychosis or mania, in withdrawal, or under the influence during a session. Those situations need clinical care, not this. If it becomes apparent during a session, I will stop and point you toward appropriate help.
A structured 90-minute conversation aimed at finding a recurring reaction, naming it precisely, and testing one small change. The method draws on Progress Psychology (Oleg Lekontsev) alongside body-oriented work and long practice in martial arts. Nothing physical is done to you; sessions are conversation, observation and rehearsal.
These are the guarantees exactly as stated on the site, so there is no ambiguity later.
What I do not promise is a specific outcome, a timeline, or that any particular problem will resolve. Testimonials on the site describe individual experiences and are not a prediction of yours.
If you are a consumer in Japan, the statutory notice under the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions is on a separate page.
Neither of us records a session. No audio, no video, no screen or window capture, no photographs, no screenshots, no transcript taken during or afterwards, and no AI notetaker, meeting assistant, or transcription bot sitting on the call. This applies to me exactly as it applies to you: I do not record you, and you do not record me.
Neither of us publishes or shares any part of a session anywhere. Not on social media, not in a messaging app or a group chat, not on a forum, a blog, a video platform, a podcast, a book, a lecture, or a training course — and not by feeding it into an AI system of any kind. This covers recordings, screenshots, transcripts, written notes, and retelling detailed enough that the other person could be recognised.
Nobody else joins, watches, or listens in without both of us agreeing beforehand. If another person is in your room or within earshot, say so at the start.
The single exception is permission given in writing, in advance, by the other person, for one specifically named purpose. Permission for one purpose is not permission for another. It can be withdrawn at any time for anything not yet published. Silence is never permission.
This does not end when our work does. It continues indefinitely, in both directions.
If it is broken, the work stops immediately and no refund is owed for sessions already held. Recording or publishing a private conversation without consent can also carry consequences under the law of Japan and of your own country — that part is out of my hands.
Put simply: nothing that happens in the ninety minutes leaves the room — in either direction, forever, unless the other person has said yes in writing first.
What you say in a session stays with me. I do not discuss clients with anyone — not colleagues, not family — and I do not use what you tell me as material for writing, teaching, or content without asking you first and getting a clear yes for that specific use. A yes to one use is not a yes to the others.
I keep brief working notes so I can pick up where we left off. They are held to the minimum I need, filed under a first name rather than your full identity, never shared, and never used to train any AI system. They are destroyed two years after our last session, or sooner if you ask. How they are stored and what rights you have over them is set out in the Privacy Policy.
The exceptions are narrow and are the usual ones: a serious and immediate risk of harm to you or to someone else, a credible risk to a child or a vulnerable adult, or a legal obligation I cannot lawfully refuse. Where I am able to tell you before I act, I will.
Working online puts a few things on your side of the line rather than mine.
The workbook and any materials I send are free to use for yourself and to share with a friend. Please do not resell them, repackage them, translate them for distribution, or present them as your own.
The site text, the workbook, session summaries and any exercises I write for you stay mine. What you get is a personal licence to use them, not ownership. The method itself — Progress Psychology — is Oleg Lekontsev's, and nothing here passes on any right to teach it.
What you produce in a session — your words, your notes, your realisations — is entirely yours.
You stay responsible for your own decisions, actions, and care. You take part voluntarily and can stop at any time. If at any point I think what you need is outside what this work can do, I will say so and point you elsewhere — that is part of the job.
I will do this work carefully and honestly. What I can't do is guarantee an outcome, so here is plainly where my responsibility stops.
Sessions are offered as they are. Beyond the guarantees written above, I make no promise that the work produces any particular result, and I am not liable for decisions you take, or don't take, as a consequence of a session.
Where the law allows a limit, my total liability for anything arising out of this work is capped at what you actually paid me for it. I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost income, lost opportunity, or loss caused by a third-party platform failing.
None of this limits liability for death or personal injury caused by my negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including consumer rights you hold that cannot be signed away.
How the website handles your data, what I keep from sessions, how long it is held and how to have it erased is set out in the Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the law of Japan. Where a dispute has to reach a court, the Saitama District Court is the court of first instance — unless you are a consumer whose own law lets you bring a claim where you live, which this does not take away from you.
Before any of that, please just write to me. Almost everything is solvable in an email, and I would far rather hear a complaint than have you carry it.
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and the version that applies to you is the one published when you booked. A change that materially affects work already booked I will tell you directly — not leave on a page for you to find.
Questions about any of this: ivan@nisuda.com. I answer these myself.
The short version. I will tell you the truth about what I see, I will not pretend to be a doctor, what you say stays with you, neither of us records or posts a word of it, and if the first session does not deliver what I promised, you do not pay.
